 17' (5.18m) 'deepV' high performance cabin/open runabout.

 For construction in plywood or as a mould for grp/frp.

 Beam 7'9". Weight without engine 1200lbs. Inboard or outboard versions.

 Inboard Engine Installation....takes 80 to 200hp. Draught 2'1". 100hp direct drive gives 26mph, with 2 to 1 reduction gives 30mph. 150hp direct drive gives 30mph or 37mph with 1.5 to 1 reduction. 180hp direct drive gives 28mph. Tows skis with 80hp or over.

 Amateur built Vixen 17 with 150hp Yamaha gives 40mph (70kph)

 Outboard Engine Installation....Takes single or twin units from 40 to 220hp.

 Hull draught 9". Tows skis with 60hp and over. 40hp gives 21mph. 100hp gives 43mph.
